Can the motion activation feature be turned off.

Yes, to turn off the motion feature, just switch the power ON/OFF/ON, this will activate override mode. If you want to reset it back to motion mode, please turn off the power and wait 20 seconds. The light will then resume motion mode.

How do you extend the socket? I see a clamp but it doesn't seem to work without trying to pry it

The socket has a push button on the side, push it to extend the socket until any location you want to stay, then let it go, the Lowes.com also display a video to show you how to find the push button on the socket to adjust the height. How do you hook the ground wire up when installing the base plate it comes with?

Our light comes with a lamp holder which is made by plastic, and the light material is of the plastic as well. So there is no need to hook the ground wire up while installing.

Is Wall Mounting OK

Yes, the light can also be installed on the wall. A lamp holder is attached along with the pack. Once the holder is installed, place the light head (E26) on it, and it will be able to support the weight. Because it is a wall mount, please ensure there is enough space for heat dissipation after installation. Do not place the lamp in a confined space, and be cautious not to stare directly at it to protect your eyes.

Does this screw into a standard E26/medium base light socket if I don't want to hardwire the base it comes with?

Yes, this product could screw into a standard E26 base if you don’t want to hardwire the base. Our attached base is just another option in case the customer needs to use it at the same time.
