The dual-head tripod work light suits jobs where you need a freestanding support and light aimed from two heads. Its telescoping tripod and tilting, swivelling heads make placement part of the choice: plan where the legs and power cord will sit around the work.

  • Size and fit. Published size: Tripod adjusts to 55 in. Measure the floor area available for the tripod and the route to a grounded outlet. Its published maximum height is 55 inches; ask for the deployed footprint, minimum height and packed size before choosing it for a tight room or vehicle. The adjustable support does not make its dimensions or stability limits interchangeable with another tripod.
  • Brightness. About as much light as 25 ordinary 60-watt household bulbs (20,000 lumens; an old 60-watt bulb gives about 800).

Questions buyers ask

Do two heads give twice the light?

The output published for Z-20000-DT-2 is the total for the work light. Do not double that value because it has two heads. The practical benefit of two adjustable heads is where you can aim the light, such as two sides of a work area, while keeping the tripod clear of the job. Full guide: Tripod, stand or clamp work light.

How should I set up a tripod light?

Plan a stable position where the deployed tripod leaves a clear walking route and the heads can aim toward the work rather than into your eyes. For Z-20000-DT-2, the published 55-inch maximum height and grounded cord length help check the position and distance to power. Ask for the leg footprint and minimum height before buying for a cramped space. Follow the model’s instructions for raising and securing the support. Full guide: Tripod, stand or clamp work light.

Does portable mean rechargeable or cordless?

This dual-head model publishes plug-in power and a grounded plug, so its tripod does not provide a cordless supply. Include the outlet position when choosing where the two heads will stand. Its location statement permits use around wet locations, but the entire setup still needs to follow the cord and connection instructions. If you need battery operation, request an explicitly documented battery option rather than expecting one inside this portable housing. Full guide: Tripod, stand or clamp work light.
