Are the trim diameter and cutout diameter the same?
No. The dimensions printed for Z-RCUC5W-2P describe the product; the required ceiling opening must come from this model’s installation instructions. Does a two-pack light a whole room?
The pack count is two, but Z-RCUC5W-2P has no confirmed lumen output on this page. Ask for the output and distribution before deciding how many packs a room needs. Mark the proposed ceiling positions relative to seating, cabinets and work areas, since recessed lights in one part of the ceiling do not automatically remove shadows under a wall cabinet. Does dimmable mean it works with my old switch?
The white recessed model publishes TRIAC dimming with a stated range. Check the actual switch model and installation instructions against that requirement rather than treating the word dimmable as universal compatibility. Ask for the approved control list before reusing an old switch, particularly when several lights will share it.
