Who it's for / where it goes
This high-output bulb is for a garage with a suitable E26 holder where an ordinary household bulb leaves too little light. It keeps the existing socket position, so a car, shelving or an open garage door can still cast shadows even after the bulb is replaced.
Check before you buy
- Size and fit. Published size: 4.65 x 4.65 x 8.07 in. Bigger than a household bulb: about 4.7 in across and 8.1 in tall. An ordinary bulb is about 2.4 in across and 4.3 in tall, so check it fits your fixture, shade or cage. Measure the opening and the space above and around the socket, including any shade or protective cage. This bulb is substantially taller and wider than an ordinary A19. A matching screw base alone does not confirm enclosure permission, clearance or suitability inside a garage-door opener.
- Brightness. About as much light as 6 ordinary 60-watt household bulbs (5,000 lumens; an old 60-watt bulb gives about 800).
- Power and installation. E26 socket (screw-in). Check the socket, fixture limits and clearance before screwing it in. Electrical rating: 36 W. Supply: 120-277 V, 60 Hz.

Questions buyers ask
Can I replace a normal bulb with the TB50?
Only when the fixture can accommodate this bulb’s published dimensions and actual wattage, as well as its intended location. The TB50 is non-dimmable, so an existing wall dimmer is another check before purchase. Send a fixture-label photo and your opening measurements if you cannot establish those limits from the fitting. Can I dim a non-dimmable garage bulb to reduce glare?
No. Z-TB50 is published as non-dimmable and intended for on/off switching. Its high output should be part of the decision before purchase, especially when the ceiling socket is low or visible from the bench. If that amount of light would be uncomfortable, compare another light or a different position. Do not count on your existing wall dimmer to turn this bulb into a lower-output model. Can one bright bulb light a whole garage?
The TB50’s published lumens let you start a garage-size comparison, but do not promise an evenly lit room. Mark the socket, the open garage door, the car and the bench on a simple plan. Light cannot reach through those obstructions, and your body may shade the work even when the floor looks bright.
