Who it's for / where it goes

The A19 grow bulb is for an indoor gardener who wants a familiar bulb shape in an appropriate E26 fixture. Its purpose is plant lighting rather than ordinary room illumination, so think about both the lamp’s physical fit and how the grow spectrum will look in a shared room.

Check before you buy
  • Size and fit. Exact dimensions not published; ask us. A19 identifies the shape class, while E26 identifies the screw base. Ask for this model’s full height and width before selecting a tight shade. The ordinary household-bulb reference is a comparison point, not a measurement of this particular grow bulb or approval for an enclosed fitting. Ask about size and fit.
  • Brightness. Grow spectrum; household-bulb equivalents do not measure plant coverage.
  • Power and installation. E26 socket (screw-in). Check the socket, fixture limits and clearance before screwing it in. Electrical rating: 9 W. Supply: 120 V AC, 50/60 Hz.
  • Location. Damp locations.
  • Controls. Dimming: No.

Questions buyers ask

Can an A19 and a BR30 use the same socket?

The Zone A19 and BR30 grow records both specify E26, but that answers only the base question. Their different shapes still need separate clearance checks. For Z-GR-A19-3S, compare actual watts with the fixture label and obtain the exact dimensions before choosing it to fit a small lamp shade. Full guide: Will this bulb fit?.

Is BR30 or PAR38 better for indoor plants?

The A19 grow model gives you a third shape to compare when a reflector bulb would be awkward in the intended lamp. Its published watts differ from the PAR38 model’s, but wattage alone cannot rank plant coverage. Choose a body that fits the fixture, then ask for plant-light output and distribution for the exact candidate. The A19, BR30 and PAR38 labels describe formats, not a plant species or growth-stage guarantee. Full guide: Grow light bulbs, strips or fixtures.

Can I run the light all day and night?

Z-GR-A19-3S does not publish a timer cycle or daily growing schedule. Confirm the plants’ needs and the intended lamp position before deciding how long to run it. This bulb is non-dimmable and rated for damp locations, so a dimmer setting or unrestricted water exposure should not be part of the plan. If you want timed switching, ask about the proposed control instead of assuming every E26 setup supports it. Full guide: Grow lights for plant shelves.
