This adjustable three-panel design is for a garage where you want to aim light from an existing E26 socket. The panels give you a choice of directions, but they cannot move the socket away from an obstructing garage door, ceiling beam or storage rack.

Should I buy a motion version for a workshop?
This record says a motion version is available; it does not say the pictured standard three-panel light includes that sensor. Ask which exact version you would receive and how its timing works. Is a four-panel light always brighter than a three-panel light?

Will adjustable panels remove all shadows?
Tilting the three panels changes their aim, but the light still starts at your existing E26 socket. Check whether the open door sits between that socket and the floor, and whether your body will block light at the workbench. If the problem is an obstruction, another light position may matter more than another panel.
